We are so proud of our students and makeup artists that have done the makeup for all the world famous acters/actresses and film directors that came to Stockholm from all over the world for the Stockholm international film festival prize awards.

The IUM, International Union for Makeupartist and Hairstylist education is arranging an international makeup competition with the theme " Human VS Nature". The competition will take place at the For Beauty  in Prague on the 4th of April 2020.

The application fee is 498 kr, if you are an IUM member it`s free. You need to apply to the competition with a photo that shows your skills.

From beginners 5 months ago to Masters today. For us teachers it is all the time remarkable to see how our students growing and developing their skills and personality. Our students worked very hard during those last 5 months and now they got their International Master Makeup Artist certificate.

TV4 - Make Up Institute Stockholm!
Today Makeup Institute's teachers were in TV4 nyhetsmorgon. The task was to creat some beautiful-scarry looks for Hallowwen. So fun! 😊💀👻

The Zombie Marathon was one of the funniest practice this year for our students. Making creative and spooky zombies in limited time is always a challenge for a makeup artist, our students did it really well. The school was full of happy zombies who were ready to shock people on the run. The students can`t wait for Halloween events to create crazy creatures with SFX .

On Miss Queen of Scandinavia beauty contest Makeup Institute`s students gave the paegants a beautiful glam makeup. To create a  makeup on a beauty contest was challenging and fun for our  student. They done such a great work. 

Teacher Jennifer represented Make Up Institute in the jury.

Det var en ära för oss att vara en del av Funkisfestivalen! Våra studenter hjälpte alla finalister att känna och se fantastiska ut på scenen. Grattis alla fantastiska tävlande! Funkisfestivalen är Sveriges största melode festival för personer över 15 år med kognitiv eller neuropsykiatrisk funktionsnedsättning inom LSS. Tävlingen ägde rum första gången år 2011 och blev genast en succé. Sedan dess har det blivit ett årligt återkommande evenemang.

Our students are graduated! It was a long journey and a very intensive education, but you did it! Congratulation guys, we wish you the most incredible carrier that you can imagine! :) It was an amazing class, so many talented and ambitious student. Here we have some pro pictures from the graduation party. Next course starts on the 5th of August.

In a cooporation with Miss Africa Crown, Make Up Institutes students and artists will makeup and style all the kandidats in the final of this prestige competition that will take place at October 5 2019 in Stockholm.

I samarbete med Miss Queen of Scandinavia har Make Up Institutes elever under höstterminen 2018 sminkat och stylat samtliga kandidater under finalen som höll plats i Stockholm på Sheraton den 1 september 2018.​

I samarbete med Viasat har Make Up Institutes elever stylat och sminkat deltagare inför Viasat Sales Awards 2018. Eleverna har gjort ett utmärkt jobb!

I samarbete med Miss India Europe har eleverna på Makeup Institutes fått sminka samtliga kandidater på Miss India Europe finalen som ägde rum den 9 december 2017 på Musikaliska i Stockholm.

Make Up Institute har öppet hus på torsdag den 14e Februari klockan 10.00-12.00.

I samarbete med Hjärnkoll Stockholm kommer eleverna på Make Up Institute med Hjärnkoll Stockholm kommer eleverna på Make Up Institute under December att få sminka några utav Hjärnkolls amassadörer med psykisk ohälsa till en musik video.

Hjärnkoll arbetar för att motverka fördomar och sprida kunskap om psykisk ohälsa genom deras egna berättelser.

Under November 2018 var Make Up Institutes elever på Attitude mässan. Där fick dem mingla och erbjuda makeup till gästerna!
