The IUM, International Union for Makeupartist and Hairstylist education is arranging an international makeup competition with the theme " Human VS Nature". The competition will take place at the For Beauty  in Prague on the 4th of April 2020.

TV4 - Make Up Institute Stockholm!
Today Makeup Institute's teachers were in TV4 nyhetsmorgon. The task was to creat some beautiful-scarry looks for Hallowwen. So fun! 😊💀👻

The Zombie Marathon was one of the funniest practice this year for our students. Making creative and spooky zombies in limited time is always a challenge for a makeup artist, our students did it really well. The school was full of happy zombies who were ready to shock people on the run. The students can`t wait for Halloween events to create crazy creatures with SFX .

On Miss Queen of Scandinavia beauty contest Makeup Institute`s students gave the paegants a beautiful glam makeup. To create a  makeup on a beauty contest was challenging and fun for our  student. They done such a great work. 

Teacher Jennifer represented Make Up Institute in the jury.

Makeup Institute has a long time partnership with Gröna Lund. On the party of the year, our students and artists helped some guests to transform to became a Disney character. These events are the most challenging and the most fun days in our students`s work. 

Make Up Institutes students and artists are at one of the most creative fashions shows in Sweden. The Swedish School of Textile graduate fashion show! The task was a fresh, glowy natural look for the models. Our students have made an amazing work in this impressive show.

It`s always fun to work with Wella/Sebastian`s talented hairdressers for hair shows or photoshoots.

Our students helped to create some fresh and trendy looks for their latest hair show.

It was an honor for us to be a part of Funkisfestivalen! Our student helped all the finalists, to feel and look amazing on stage. Congratulation all the amazing contestants :) The Funkis Festival is Sweden's biggest music festival for people over the age of 15 with cognitive or neuropsychiatric disabilities. The competition took place for the first time in 2011 and immediately became a success. Since then, it has become an annual event. https://www.funkisgladje.se

Our students have now graduated! It was a long journey and a very intensive education, but you did it! We wish our students the most incredible career and a wonderful journey in the world of makeup. It was an amazing class, so many talented and ambitious students. 

The students of Make Up Institute Stockholm were a part of Miss Africa Crown and artists did the makeup of the candidates in the finals that took place on on October 5, 2019 in Stockholm.

In November 2018 our students participated in the Attitude fair where they offered makeup services and had fun!

Make Up Institutes students had cooperation with Miss Queen of Scandinavia 2018 and did their makeup and styled all the candidates in the final that took place in Stockholm on Sheraton September 1, 2018.

In collaboration with Viasat, Make Up Institute's students have styled and did makeup on the contestants for the Viasat Sales Awards 2018. The students have done an excellent job! 

In cooperation with Miss India Europe, Make Up Institute students and artists did the makeup on all candidates at Miss India Europe finale that took place in Musikaliska 9th of December 2017.

Make Up Institute has an open house on Thursday, 14th of February at 10.00-12.00.
