The dream of becoming a makeupartist

What made you choose Makeup Institute Stockholm? 

"From the very beginning, Makeup Institute felt like the perfect choice. The school had a professional and inspiring atmosphere, and I immediately knew I was in the right place. The fact that I could study in English was also a key factor in my decision."

Did you already have makeup skills before starting your studies here?

"I didn’t have any prior education in makeup, but I’ve always had a strong interest in beauty and cosmetics. Everything I knew before was self-learned through practice and inspiration."

What are the most valuable things you have learned so far?

"I have learned how to work with different types of clients by adjusting to their needs and preferences. I have also gained knowledge about various skin tones and how to customize products and techniques to highlight each individual's unique features."

Do you have any advice for future students?

"My best advice is to stay focused on the course and take in every bit of knowledge. Another key tip is to find models early, so you always have people to practice on and can take full advantage of the practical training. Preparation is key to developing your skills faster and making the most of your education!"

What goals do you have in mind after finishing your studies?

"My goal after the course is to fully commit to a career as a makeup artist and continue expanding my expertise in the industry. I’m particularly drawn to the creative aspects of makeup and dream of working in the film industry in the future. I’m excited to keep growing, learning, and working towards my ambitions!"
